Who you are dealing with
Kinfolk Board is the seller-facing brand; BENCHWORKS LLC is the legal business operator and seller of record. Where these terms say “we” or “us”, they mean BENCHWORKS LLC. The registered business address is Brisas del Laurel, 610 Calle Amatista, Ponce, PR 00780. When you place an order, you are purchasing from Kinfolk Board, and Kinfolk Board handles customer service, order questions, disputes and storefront policies.

This website is a preview. Online ordering is not available, no contract of sale can be formed through it today, and no payment is collected. The personalization tool produces an on-screen preview only; submitting it does not place an order, does not reserve a board and does not send a request to us.
Prices shown
The prices currently displayed — $119 for the Signature size and $149 for the Grand size — are provisional and shown for illustration. They are not an offer to sell. Final pricing, taxes and any additional charges will be confirmed before ordering opens: [FINAL PRICING AND TAX TREATMENT REQUIRED].
Personalization and approval
Engraved boards are made to order. When ordering is available, the personalization text you supply is engraved as you provide it, so the spelling, punctuation and capitalization you enter are your responsibility. We confirm the exact text and layout with you as a proof before a board is made, and production begins only once that proof is approved. Because each board is engraved to order, subject to the approved proof, it cannot be resold, and once production begins a personalized order cannot be cancelled or refunded for a change of mind — see the Returns & Refunds policy.
Nature of the product
Boards are made from acacia hardwood and natural slate; the Grand edition is a marble and acacia set. Stone and wood vary in veining, grain, colour and tone, so no two boards are identical and a finished board will differ from the photographs on this site. This variation is a property of the materials, not a defect.
Production and delivery
Boards are made to order by our production and fulfillment provider. The production target is 3–5 business days after your order is confirmed and your proof is approved; carrier transit time is additional. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Shipping charges are not included in the prices shown unless specifically stated at checkout, and the applicable shipping charge is paid by the customer (or the reseller, for a reseller order). Full detail is set out in the Shipping Policy. An incorrect delivery address, a refused package, an undeliverable package or a carrier problem may result in additional charges.
Warranties
The only warranty we offer is that a board will conform to the design and text you approved in your proof, as described in the Returns & Refunds policy. We do not offer any other warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms removes any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Limitation of liability
The limits of our liability under these terms are [LIABILITY LIMIT REQUIRED]. This section must be reviewed by a lawyer before it is relied on, because the limits that are permitted vary by jurisdiction.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site unlawfully, to interfere with its operation, or to request engraving text that infringes someone else’s rights or that is unlawful, hateful or threatening. We may decline any personalization request.
Intellectual property
The Kinfolk Board name, the site design, the copy and the images on this site belong to BENCHWORKS LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission. The text you supply for engraving remains yours; by submitting it you confirm you have the right to use it.
Governing law and disputes
